Distance-selling frame (Taiwan)
For services arranged remotely, Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act provides a seven-day reconsideration period (七日猶豫期) for applicable distance contracts. Advisory sessions and project work that have already been delivered with your consent may be excluded once the service has been performed, consistent with market practice for professional services.
Cancellations before work starts
- Advisory sessions: Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start for a full refund of prepaid fees. Later cancellations forfeit the session fee unless we reschedule at our discretion.
- Projects: If you cancel after signing but before kickoff, we refund any prepaid amount minus documented third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
During an engagement
If you terminate a project early, fees for completed milestones and hours logged under the statement of work are non-refundable. Unused prepaid balances for undelivered milestones are refunded within 14 business days.
Our cancellations
If we cancel a booked session, you receive a full refund or a priority reschedule. If we cannot staff a signed project, we refund deposits for undelivered work.
How to request a refund
Email {{ site.Data.identity.email }} with your name, invoice or booking reference, and reason. We confirm receipt within 3 business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within 14 business days where practicable.
Non-refundable items
- Third-party licenses or cloud costs explicitly purchased for your account
- Deliverables already merged or handed over per the statement of work
- No-show advisory sessions without 48-hour notice
Disputes
We aim to resolve concerns directly. You may also use consumer dispute mechanisms available in Taiwan where applicable.
